We will discuss recent changes to California and Hawaii laws regarding online fundraising platforms, as well as recent enforcement actions in cause marketing arrangements nationally. These developments will impact charities and the businesses supporting them. It is important for all charities (and businesses) to know these developments, as many charities operate and fundraise nationally. Because of the online nature of some of the developments, they are likely to have a national impact.
