As the federal government leaves certain topics unregulated, many state legislatures are expanding areas of law deeply impacting businesses. This program will examine how state legislative trends impact corporate bottom lines, discussing what business lawyers need to know about quickly changing areas of law. It will provide a general overview of state action, as well as focus on two issues emerging from state governments: Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and privacy laws.
