After years of anticipation, the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) went into effect on January 1, 2024. The goal of our program is to address real-world issues that practitioners are dealing with day-to-day with the CTA, along with some “lessons learned” through the CTA’s first months. In addition to a discussion on the practicalities of compliance with the CTA, we will address the current challenges and potential evolutions of the beneficial ownership information obligations.
