The Federal Advisory committee Act substantially impedes federal agency consultations with industry and bar groups. This Article analyzes the Act and proposes a legislative solution to alleviate unreasonable restrictions on information gathering by administrative agencies while meeting legitimate concerns about the unbridled use of advisory committees.
