Privatization in the Czech Republic
      Bruce Alan Mann, 48(3): 963–73 (May 1993)

The author discusses the creative measures, such as voucher privatization and the use of U.S. investment bankers and lawyers to negotiate agreements with foreign investors, that have contributed to the apparent success of this effort.
