The Tax Implications Of Managing An Immigration Workforce

Description:

This webinar will explore tax issues associated with managing foreign nationals working in the United States in this age of immigration uncertainty.  The panelists will discuss different visa categories and their tax implications, along with the impact of tax treaties.  The panelists will also discuss common problems and pitfalls associated with managing an immigration workforce, including issues such as having “ghost” employees, who is the common law employer for tax treaty purposes, paperwork issues and improperly documented workers, among others.  This webinar is intended for individuals with limited knowledge of tax and immigration issues, but who have to deal with managing or advising on the use of immigrant labor.
