On Wednesday, March 12, 2014, the Housing Finance Subcommittee of the Consumer Financial Services Committee will present a free, non-CLE webinar titled, “A Look at HUD’s Current Mortgage Issues” The webinar takes place at 2:00 p.m. ET and is open to Business Law Section Members.

Program Description

This session will look at recent developments in FHA lending:
FHA Qualified Mortgage Rule
Manual Underwriting Rule
Loss Mitigation Enhancements
Quality Assurance Process Updates
Speakers are the following HUD representatives:

  • Michael Nixon – Senior Housing Policy Advisor, Office of Housing
  • Philip Caulfield – Policy Specialist, Office of Single Family Program Development
  • Matt Martin – Director, Servicing & Loss Mitigation, Office of Single Family Asset Management, National Servicing Center
  • Justin Burch – Director, Quality Assurance Division

Each speaker will give a presentation on one of the topics and be available to answer questions.
