Business Law Fellows

For 16 years, the Fellows Program has represented the ABA Business Law Section’s commitment to encouraging the participation of diverse lawyers in Section activities. Through the Fellows Program, young lawyers, lawyers of color, lawyers with disabilities and LGBT lawyers are provided a springboard to substantive leadership roles within the Section through unique leadership roles, mentorships and subsidized attendance at Business Law Section Meetings.

Business Law Advisors

Business Law Advisors are distinguished leaders of the profession who the Section has chosen to involve in the Section's activities at its expense. Each year, three outstanding business lawyers are chosen for this honor for a two-year term. The Section looks for senior lawyers with national reputations who have the experience and judgment necessary to help inform and educate younger members of the profession.

Business Court Representatives

Business Court Representatives are individuals who are current members of the judiciary who preside over courts or dockets consisting primarily of complex business and commercial litigation. The Business Court Representative Program makes the Business Court Representatives, and through them other members of the judiciary, aware of the activities of the Section.

Diversity Clerkship Program

Provides business law clerkship placements for qualified diverse candidates who are first or second year law students, includes mentoring to the student participants in order to give them the exposure to business practices.
