Thank you for attending the ABA Business Law Section Spring Meeting! We look forward to hosting over 80 CLE programs, hundreds of committee and subcommittee meetings, and plenty of special events. Below, please find some important things to help you navigate the meeting.

(1)   Plan Your Schedule with the Meeting App

(2)   Check in at the Registration Desk in the Section Lounge

Pick up your name badge and event tickets and purchase additional event tickets as needed in the Section Lounge in Vancouver Convention Centre, West Level 1, Ballroom A, during the following hours:

  • Wednesday,  March 27 | 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 28 | 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
  • Friday, March 29 | 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 30 | 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

(3)   Visit the Section Lounge

The Section Lounge, Vancouver Convention Centre, West Level 1, Ballroom A, is your destination for meeting information and networking. All Section Lounge services are available during regular meeting hours unless otherwise noted.

The Section Concierge is available to help answer general meeting questions, navigate the meeting app, learn more about member benefits, and pick up meeting materials. Young Lawyers: If you are a young lawyer, defined by the Section as 40 years of age or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less, pick up an entry form for the drawing at the Section Concierge on Thursday, March 28. Winners will be notified on Friday, March 29 by 8:00 a.m.

The Internet Café includes computers and printers that are available to registrants and their guests during registration hours.

The Section Bookstore is your source for the latest business law titles. Save 30% on all Business Law Section books during the meeting. Browse the many new and popular titles covering a wide range of business law topics, including corporate law, LLCs, M&A, commercial transactions, bankruptcy, nonprofit governance, international law, and more!

Refreshments are available throughout the meeting.

(4)   Navigate CLE Programs

Program Materials – Access the Program Materials in the app before, during, and after the meeting.

NEW ABA CLE Process! If you would like to obtain CLE credit for attending programming, you must sign in on the daily sign-in sheets each day there is CLE programming at the meeting. Stop by the CLE Table, which is located near registration, Vancouver Convention Centre, West Level 1, Ballroom A, to sign-in.

Get the credit you deserve in 3 easy steps!

1. Sign in (and out for NY ONLY) EACH DAY

2. Use the link provided on the handout at the CLE table to access the Affidavit of Attendance. Complete the required information, certify, and submit.

3. Your Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you within three weeks of the completion of the program. Information related to reporting attendance will be included.

Missed a program? -
Audio recordings from all CLE programs will be posted to our Program Materials Library a few weeks after the meeting.

Attend the Section Luncheon to network with fellow attendees and celebrate Section initiatives. During the Section Luncheon, the recipients of the National Public Service Awards, the Jean Allard Glass Cutter Award winner, the authors and editors of recently published books, and outgoing Section Fellows are recognized. The National Hockey League Vancouver Canucks’ General Counsel, Chris Gear, is scheduled to speak. He will share insights about sports law.
