Public company auditors will soon be required by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board to provide narrative disclosures about Critical Audit Matters (CAMs). We will discuss the CAMs standard, auditors’ current implementation plans, and advising clients regarding potential issues raised by CAMs, including whether litigation contingencies might be CAMs.
