Meeting Location

LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort | 9891 Gulf Shore Drive, Naples, FL 34108 | $369/night plus tax. A $25 credit will be applied to each resort room, per day. This credit can be applied to resort services such as room service, butler service at the beach, gift shop, Tiki Bar, Baleen Restaurant or Baleen Bar, or Spa. In addition, the resort fee ($25) is waived for registrants. The hotel includes complimentary Wi-Fi in guest rooms, poolside, and beachside. Fitness Center access and fitness classes are complimentary. There is complimentary usage of beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and beach services.

Attendees must register for the meeting before reserving a hotel room. Once registration is complete, please fill out the below form and email or fax it to the rooming coordinator. Attendees are only able to book one room at the group rate. Rooms will be available until sold out or Wednesday, January 1, 2020, whichever comes first.

Scholarship Information

Applications are available for a limited number of scholarships to defray the registration fee. Preference will be given to practitioners with limited means and to unemployed attorneys. For registration fees over the amount of $500, attorneys who qualify will receive at least a 50% reduction in the registration fee. Please note, this does not include any reduction in meals, lodging, or travel costs associated with the course. For more information, please contact Quiana Nesbit at quiana.nesbit@americanbar.org.

CLE Information

The ABA will seek _10.83_ hours of CLE credit in 60-minute states, including 1.0 hour of ethics and _13.0_ hours of CLE credit for this program in 50-minute states, including 1.2 hours of ethics. Credit hours are estimated and are subject to each state’s approval and credit rounding rules.
