Employment & Insurance Issues Arising from COVID-19
August 17, 2020
Given the economic uncertainty in relation to the coronavirus outbreak, employers are struggling to find their footing. With furloughs and layoffs, it is likely that employers will face claims of discrimination and unlawful termination. In addition to covering these key employment issues, this program will also cover associated insurance issues. Insurance coverage maybe available to assist businesses in the defense and resolution of employment and related liability issues. Beyond these issues, we will also touch on the state of COVID insurance litigation in the US and around the world, and the role that alternative dispute resolution can play in light of our backlogged courts.
