An All-Star group of panelists – including a former Chief of Staff for the House Financial Services Committee, and a former Associate GC at the Federal Reserve Board – will discuss the effects of the 2016 election; the Presidential transition; the PHH v. CFPB case and possible outcomes; the legislative agenda, including the Financial CHOICE Act and the Congressional Review Act; the CFPB and the future of consumer financial protection more generally, with an eye to predicting where we will find ourselves in January 2018.
