Environmental Law: Smart Business Strategies

Proactive engagement in environmental issues can reveal opportunities for even smarter business strategies. This session brings together experts on environmental law, civil and criminal enforcement and transactions who will first lay a foundation of environmental requirements and related legal and business risk, and then discuss smart business strategies for dealing with environmental issues, from permitting and compliance, transactions, due diligence, reps and warranties, financing and disclosures, to valuable participation in the legislative and regulatory process while developing responses to issues brewing on the horizon.
