We work with the NCBJ to provide a joint symposium program, and to coordinate our separate programs to prevent duplication and to avoid overlapping time slots as much as possible. This year the symposium topic will be a mock Congressional hearing on Equitable Powers of the Bankruptcy Court 40 Years After the Enactment of the Bankruptcy Code.
We strongly encourage you to register for both the NCBJ and the ABA so that you will receive all the benefits that both organizations have to offer. The easiest way to register for do that is on the NCBJmeeting.org website. This will give you access to not only the excellent NCBJ programs, but also the breakfasts, beverages and snacks, and receptions and events where most attendees are found and networking opportunities abound. And this year, NCBJ registration will include the cost of one lunch, which can be used for one of our ABA lunch program, a $90 savings. If you don’t also register for the NCBJ and receive a NCBJ nametag in addition to your ABA nametag, you will be excluded from the NCBJ’s food and beverage area, and from the rooms where NCBJ programs, receptions and events take place. Please join the entire conference!
