CFPB and Financial Literacy
April 13, 2016
Financial literacy continues to be a key challenge to improving the responsible use of credit and other financial products. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has devoted considerable resources to establishing quality materials to support financial education. Our ABA CFS Committee has a Pro Bono Subcommitte, and along with other members of the Business Law Section, we have explored how we can best assist the CFPB and others in mobilizing resources across the county to expand this vital work. Hear from key CFPB financial literacy staff as they provide an overview of their current efforts in an informal interview by Pro Bono Subcommittee Chair Len Bernstein of Reed Smith.
