In this session, we look at Consumer Finance in a Social Media World. We will examine what is social media and what does it mean for the consumer finance industry? This program will discuss how social media can and should be used by the industry, and how to apply old laws to this new medium. Topics to be discussed include the strategic benefits of lenders entering the social media world, disclosure and UDAAP issues, interacting with consumers, and regulatory scrutiny.
