The mission of the Emerging Europe Private Equity & Venture Capital Taskforce is to provide a forum for discussion of current legal developments and market practices surrounding international private equity and venture capital investment in the Emerging Europe region, broadly defined. The Taskforce will facilitate discussions surrounding fund formation, fund finance, equity financing transactions and exit transactions.

The International sub-committee's objective is to share market practice and legal updates in the private equity and venture capital industry from practitioners in both the US and internationally. We usually have representatives from most continents of the world attending our meetings and we encourage active participation by all.

The Private Equity M&A Subcommittee comprises a group of M&A practitioners from the USA and around the world whose practice focuses to a meaningful extent on corporate acquisitions by, or involving, private equity firms and the financing sources that lend into private equity M&A transactions, including LBOs and divestitures. We concentrate on those aspects of M&A transactions that are unique to, or raise particular issues of interest in the context of, private equity transactions.
