Product innovation frequently involves connecting products through software or hardware interfaces. Recently, several antitrust lawsuits have challenged the adoption of, or changes to, proprietary interfaces on the basis that such conduct allegedly constitutes an unlawful tie. This committee program examines the elements of a technological tying claim and the role of IP in analyzing such claims.
