A discussion of the intersectionality of diverse groups such as gender, race, and sexual orientation, and how it affects our perception of our own identities. We will also discuss how taking an intersectionality lens can aid individuals and organizations in better comprehending the complex experiences of those from underrepresented or marginalized groups. This understanding is critical to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) efforts.
