Money Troubles: Understanding How the FTC Can Seek Monetary Relief

Since the Supreme Court's AMG decision, the FTC has been forced to rely on pathways other than equitable monetary relief to seek money from defendants. Those pathways are more cumbersome for the agency and poorly understood by the defense bar. This program explains the FTC's remaining monetary tools--consumer redress and civil penalties--reviewing how they work and how the agency is using them.
