With Alvaro Bedoya sworn in as commissioner of the Federal Trade Commission on May 16, 2022, the FTC is expected to pursue a progressive antitrust agenda, including through the renewal of “standalone” Section 5 enforcement under the FTC Act. This panel will review how, when, and where the FTC likely will implement its standalone Section 5 agenda.
