Aviv Nevo is a leading economist specializing in industrial organization, econometrics, and microeconomic theory. He holds the George A. Weiss and Lydia Bravo Weiss University Professorship at the University of Pennsylvania. Nevo has significantly advanced the understanding of market competition and consumer behavior through his research. He has assisted as an expert to the Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, and private firms in cases related to antitrust and competition, among other matters..
