Fraser Malcolm, Frank Roger Friedrich Roehling, Janet Yung Yung Hui, Jason Hewitt, and John Michael Beahn

Foreign direct investment (FDI) reviews and national security considerations are increasingly intertwined with foreign affairs and foreign policy. Sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and state-owned enterprises continue to be a large source of capital for the global economy and are looking to diversify across industries and regions. Our panelists will explore the risks and strategies for deal making and getting approvals as well as what investors should expect as regimes continue to expand and increase scrutiny of these investments going forward.
