Enforcement Stories: Samuel Levine, FTC Director of Consumer Protection Bureau

This week for the Federal Civil Enforcement Committee "Enforcement Stories" series, we sit down with Samuel Levine. Samuel Levine serves as Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, where he oversees enforcement, rulemaking, and policy work across a wide range of areas. Before his appointment as Director, he served as an attorney advisor to Commissioner Rohit Chopra and worked for the Illinois Attorney General. A Harvard Law School graduate, Levine has previously clerked with The Honorable Milton I. Shadur in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and is a recipient of the Gary Bellow Public Service Award for his commitment to social justice.
