The ABA Antitrust Law Section Federal Civil Enforcement Committee is launching the "Enforcement Stories" series. This series will include weekly conversations with U.S. federal enforcers, who will discuss their career paths, job duties, priorities, best practices, and provide tips for young professionals. The guest for this episode will be USDOJ David Lawrence, Policy Director.
David B. Lawrence oversees policy development at the Antitrust Division and supervises its Appellate, Competition Policy and Advocacy, and International sections. He has served at the Antitrust Division since 2011 in a variety of roles, including as Chief of the Competition Policy and Advocacy Section, as Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General, and as the lead of several major civil merger and conduct enforcement matters. He was a law clerk to Judge Wilfred Feinberg of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and to Judge Richard Holwell of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
