Today all eyes are on Ukraine as they fight for their freedom against the Russian invaders. Tomorrow all efforts will turn to rebuilding and rebirth. What role can competition law and policy play in this effort? To answer that question, we will explore the history of Ukrainian competition law; discuss priorities with Ukrainian enforcers and practitioners; and consider lessons from abroad.
