Join the Trial Practice Committee!
The Trial Practice Committee sponsors programs focusing
on antitrust trial work and courtroom advocacy. One
such program is the mock trial held each year at the
Spring Meeting. A typical mock trial includes two trial
lawyers per side, along with one fact witness and one
economist per side. A federal judge presides, and a jury
is empaneled. The jury deliberations are televised “live”
for the audience, and after the verdict is rendered, the
jurors, judge and trial lawyers comment and answer
questions from the audience.
