Nicole Sakin

Nicole Sakin is a 2020 graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. She currently serves as a Privacy Law Intern at Under Armour, and previously as a Summer Clerk at the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) and Summer Associate at Whiteford, Taylor & Preston. Prior to COVID-19, Nicole was selected to be a 2020-2021 Westin Fellow with the IAPP. Nicole hopes to practice in the areas of privacy, cybersecurity, and technology.

Robert W. Sommers

Robert W. Sommers is a 2L at the University of Connecticut School of Law where he serves as the Business & Technology Manager of the Connecticut Law Review. Robert worked as a paralegal at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom prior to law school and interned at the United States Attorney’s Office following his first year. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Sociology from Binghamton University. Upon completion of his second year, Robert will join the New York office of Milbank as a summer associate.

Rachel Wehr

Rachel Wehr is a 2020 law graduate of Georgetown University Law Center. In September, she will be starting with the Federal Communications Commission as part of the Attorney Honors Program. She has previously interned with the FCC in Commissioner Geoffery Starks’ Office and in the Enforcement Bureau. She is a co-author of the 2019 DEFCON 27 Voting Village Report, which highlights insecurities in electronic voting machine systems currently in use in the United States. She spent one semester at the Institute of Public Representation, a student clinic, where she investigated unfair trade practices and false representations by voting machine vendors. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard College in 2014.
