Mission Statement
The Insurance and Financial Services Committee provides a forum for discussion of competition and consumer protection issues that affect insurance and financial markets and institutions. Our committee programs and publications address a range of topics, including enforcement proceedings, competition and consumer protection policy at the regulatory agencies, legislation, and litigation. We also provide updates on the growing usage of cryptocurrencies and potential regulation in the fintech market.
