2022 Robert Pitofsky Writing Competition Award Recipient
Lisa Orucevic currently attends Vanderbilt Law School and will graduate in May 2022. She is a Managing Editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review and an Articles Editor for the Environmental Law and Policy Annual Review. After graduation, Lisa will join the Pittsburgh office of Dentons Cohen & Grigsby P.C. as an associate focusing on corporate transactional matters.
Before law school, Lisa was the Manager, Legal Entity Management of Discovery, Inc. (NASDAQ: DISCA, DISCB, DISCK); in this role, she was responsible for all international and domestic legal entity corporate governance of Discovery’s portfolio of more than three hundred subsidiaries. Lisa also held this role at Scripps Networks Interactive, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNI) before its acquisition by Discovery in March 2018. In addition to her entity management responsibilities for Scripps Networks, Lisa also assisted with all mergers and acquisitions activity, SEC reporting, and corporate board meeting planning and preparation, along with various other duties.
Lisa graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Spanish.
