States typically decide whether a program qualifies for CLE credit in their jurisdiction 4-8 weeks after the program application is submitted. For many live events, credit approval is not received prior to the program.
The ABA reports attendance for attorneys licensed in: AL, DE, GA, HI, IN, KS*, LA, ME, MS, MT, NC, NE*, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN*, TX, UT, and WA.
* KS and TN attorneys must only complete the form if the CLE event is held in-in state. If the CLE event is not held in-state, attorneys must self-report their attendance.
** NE attorneys must only complete the form if the CLE event is held in-state. If the CLE event is not held in-state, attorneys must self-apply for approval and self-report attendance.
The ABA will seek 8 hours of CLE credit for this program in 60-minute states, and 9.5 hours of CLE credit for this program in 50-minute states. Credit hours are estimated and are subject to each state’s approval and credit rounding rules.
Special rules apply to lawyers from States not listed above.
