    She will also comment on how housing solutions are stymied by the "third rail" in California politics and make some personal suggestions for different approaches in California and nationally. Ms. Rosenthal is a land use lawyer in Irvine, California and a graduate of Yale Law School with more than 30 years of experience in land use law and housing. She received her Master of Regional and City Planning from the University of Oklahoma and her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Michigan. She was honored to be elected a Fellow of the American Institute of Certified Planners by a group of her peers in 2016.
