Michelle, an attorney-CPA, brings extensive expertise to civil tax examinations, appeals, litigation, and criminal tax defense. She also advocates in white-collar criminal defense, advising individuals and businesses facing financial investigations or charges.

Michelle currently chairs the Standards of Tax Practice Committee within the American Bar Association's Section of Taxation, where she advocates for ethical standards and compliance with Circular 230, as well as the conduct requirements for tax practitioners. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Court Practice and Procedure Committee, specializing in tax litigation. From 2019 to 2024, Michelle held the position of Vice Chair on the Board of Police Commissioners for the St. Louis County Police Department, playing a key role in enhancing community safety and well-being.
