The Unified Patent Court (UPC) has been operating for over a year and the first substantive decisions on revocation and infringement actions are issuing by the Court. Not surprisingly, the UPC has seen its fair share of teething problems and has developed its own set of idiosyncrasies. This panel of European patent attorneys with experience before the UPC will discuss observations on practice before the Court, provide practical guidance for navigating the new system, and will highlight key features of the Court. The panel includes both in-house and outside counsel perspectives, providing a range of observations on practice, strategy, and management of matters before the UPC that webinar participants can leverage in their own practice.
