Changes to European Cyber Security Requirements - Have you cracked it?
1 PM EDT
Cybersecurity requirements in Europe are evolving with the introduction of new legislative documents.
In order to better respond to the growing threats posed with digitalization and the surge in cyber-attacks, the European Union is seeking to strengthen its security requirements, address the security of supply chains, streamline reporting obligations, and introduce more stringent supervisory measures and stricter enforcement requirements, including harmonized sanctions across the EU.
As a result, certain organizations and their vendors will be caught by more stringent requirements relating to data and security breach notifications, contracting requirements, training and management liability.
Join Paul Lanois and James Russell from the Fieldfisher Silicon Valley team for a practical overview of the new requirements, whether you may be affected and what you can do to prepare.
