The discussion will provide strategies for dealing with these tactics and letters.

    Empathy as a trial defense. The panel will discuss empathy, and how understanding another’s point of view can eliminate bias and prejudice, and permit the trucking lawyer—plaintiff and defendant—to better evaluate a case and position it for resolution or trial. Attendees will learn how the lawyer must communicate and explain the empathetic approach to the client for it to be successful.
