This year's 28th Fall Conference Virtual Experience will have the amazing content and networking opportunities you have come to expect as an attendee at our in-person conferences. The Planning Committee has developed a comprehensive program addressing a wide range of pressing issues facing environment, energy, and resource practitioners. Take a deep dive into today's most relevant issues to your practice such as:
- The impacts of climate change on the practice of environmental, energy, and resources law;
- Enforcement in the midst of federal deregulation;
- The regulatory life of an interstate pipeline;
- Plastic pollution: responsibility, liability, and legal solutions; and
- Skills to effectively engage with agencies.
During the week of October 19–27, 2020, the virtual Fall Conference will feature a keynote address, plenary sessions, expert insight panels, and 15 individual panels, scheduled so you can participate in all of them. Attendees will also have access to our bonus ethics panel, which will be held the week after the conference. In addition, two panels will be featured as free pre-conference webinars. For those of you keeping track, that's over 25 hours of CLE in 50-minute states. In addition to watching the panel discussions and participating in real time, attendees will be able to access recordings of each after the conference.
To balance out all that time at your computer, we are expanding our fitness options with a virtual SEER Run Club, yoga, and group bike rides. Returning to the conference this year is the round-table committee networking, the Public Service Project, and "Taste of SEER." If you're looking for something more relaxed, you can also connect with fellow attendees during the virtual wine-tasting event.
We hope you will join us for this unprecedented opportunity to connect and learn with professionals in your field from around the country.
