Registration Policy

Any individual attending any part of the Health and Welfare Benefit Plans Virtual 2020 National Institute, must register and pay the registration fee.
Shared registrations are not permitted.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellations and requests for refunds of registration fees  must be received in writing and postmarked, faxed or emailed by November 16, 2020 to receive a refund. All refund requests will incur a $50 cancellation fee. Absolutely no refunds will be granted after the November 16, 2020 deadline. To request a refund or substitution, please e-mail customer care.

Scholarship Information

A limited number of scholarships to defray tuition expenses are available for this program on case-by-case basis. Qualifying attorneys will receive at least a 50% reduction in the course fee(s). Preference will be given to full-time LL.B. candidates. Scholarship applications must be received in the ABA offices no later than thirty days prior to the program presentation. CLE Information

The ABA will seek 9.0 hours of CLE credit in 60-minute states (including 1.0 hour of Ethics) and 10.8 hours of CLE credit in 50-minute states (including 1.2 hours of Ethics) in states accrediting ABA live webinars and teleconferences.  *Credit hours granted are subject to each state‚Äôs approval and credit rounding rules. CPE Information

The American Bar Association is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.

Recommended CPE Credits and Fields of Study: Program attendees can earn up to 8.00 CPE credits in Specialized Knowledge including 1.00 CPE credit in Behavioral Ethics fields of study.
