All lawyers have an ethical obligation to provide competent legal services. Thus, wellness is vital in delivering that goal.

    Our faculty will discuss:

    • The four foundational emotional intelligence competencies
    • The key outlier personality traits that are common to lawyers, and their role in our ability to become emotionally intelligent
    • How each of the EI skills affects your ability to competently practice law, and to achieve and sustain a high level of well-being, despite factors that can lead to lawyer impairment like change, stress, and workload

This program will allow you to hear the insights of a practicing law firm leader that illustrate and validate the preceding points. Faculty will also address the role played by unique personality traits of lawyers based on the presenter’s research.
