The attorney-client relationship is something that the lawyer creates by managing every step of the client experience, especially during intake screenings and fee payment arrangements. Clients have expectations and our job as a lawyer is to understand, manage, and respond in an appropriate and timely fashion to address them. It's all about good communication! Lawyers often fail to recognize that the way they communicate with clients and prospective clients can lead to breakdowns or destroy relationships. To be effective communicators, lawyers must focus their verbal messages not only on content but also on the preferences of their clients.

This program will outline how to hone your communication skills so that you can more effectively convince others to make a particular decision, change how they are feeling, or alter their behavior. After taking this program, you'll understanding how adjusting what you say and how you say it can improve the success of your communications with clients and create referral sources for your business.
