6 Months After Tax Reform - What Is the Impact of the International Provisions?
1 PM GMT
Tax Reform significantly revised the U.S. international tax rules. While it is a challenge to understand the implications of each new rule, it is even more difficult to glean how the new rules work interrelate. Our panelists will overview several of these rules, their inter-relationships, open questions, planning opportunities and when government guidance on these provisions is anticipated.
Topics to be covered are as follows:
• What’s Left of the Territorial System: Section 245A, Section 956, and Previously Taxed Income
• Repeal of Downward Attribution
• Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income
• Foreign Derived Intangible Income
• Base-Erosion and Anti-Avoidance Tax
