NEPA's Past, Present, and Future
12 PM EST
The Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources and the Section's Public Land & Resources Committee, Energy & Natural Resources Litigation Committee, Environmental Litigation & Toxic Torts Committee, Forest Resources Committee, Native American Resources Committee, and the Oil & Gas Committee.
The Public Land & Resources Committee is hosting a non-CLE webinar concerning one of the most interesting issues facing environmental and natural resources lawyers today: the past, present, and future of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Our esteemed speakers—current and former officials in the White House Council on Environmental Quality—will provide perspectives on where NEPA has been and where it is going. Topics will include CEQ’s efforts to modernize and reinvigorate NEPA over the last 20 years; lessons learned from past initiatives; recent CEQ guidance and efforts and the current administration’s direction; and thoughts for future initiatives and priorities.
