Game Change: The New Partnership Audit Regime
1 PM EDT
The new partnership audit rules fundamentally change how the IRS audits and collects tax from partnerships. The panelists will discuss the issues with the current TEFRA partnership audit rules and the replacement of the TEFRA rules, effective 2018, in the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015. The panelists will then discuss the impact of the new partnership audit rules, and the actions that partnerships should take now to prepare for the new rules.
