    The panelists will explain the basic types of insurance for real estate and the insurance provisions that should be included in leases, mortgages, and other real estate contracts.
    The presentation will include:
    · Insurance covering damage to the property and additional coverages for flood, terrorism, and excluded risks;
    · Loss of business income and loss of rents insurance, and how they affect lease obligations;
    · Liability insurance for accidents on the property – who’s covered and what it means to be an additional insured;
    · Obtaining proof of another party’s insurance; and
    · What your documents need to provide to protect your clients (and what you should advise your clients).
