    Our February webinar provides a useful introduction to the Islamic Law of Inheritance and its implications for lawyers dealing with Muslim clients.  Professors Hamoudi and Cammack will provide a general introduction to inheritance laws in the respective Sunni and Shia worlds. They will then discuss particular issues of importance for lawyers with devout Muslim clients, including the spousal election, managing the expectations of the Muslim client, and issues specific to real estate.  Their presentation will also include a discussion of evolving ideas within the Muslim world regarding adoptive children and marital property.
