Gun-Jumping Goes Global
10 AM EST
For many years, enforcement of gun-jumping restrictions (as opposed to failures to file) were largely limited to the U.S. Recently, however, other jurisdictions have begun to engage in much more aggressive enforcement of post-closing restrictions on merging parties’ conduct, including the European Commission’s imposition of a €125 million fine on Altice and recent actions in Brazil. The panel will discuss these and other developments in gun-jumping around the world.
