Fundamentals of Antitrust Economics Series: Statistical Significance
12 PM EST
Understanding basic economic principles is critical to antitrust analysis. In this series of programs, distinguished economists will teach basic economic principles related to antitrust analysis.
In this session, Professor Andrew Sweeting will discuss the concept of statistical significance and its application to analyses commonly used in antitrust litigation. The discussion will be interspersed with brief "mock argument" demonstrations by attorney moderators Sergei Zaslavsky and Katie Yablonka, providing concrete examples of how to present (and not to present) statistical analyses in legal argument.
