Consolidation of Chinese Antitrust Enforcement Agencies
12 PM EDT
After ten years of China’s enforcement of its Anti-Monopoly Law, China recently announced to consolidate its three agencies under one roof – a new government body, the State Administration for Market Supervision (SAMS). This change is likely to have profound impacts on Chinese antitrust enforcement in the future. This program brings together US and Chinese experts with agency and private practice backgrounds to discuss the implications of this restructure of China antitrust enforcement regime.
