A number of courts around the world have recently issued important decisions in various FRAND disputes, particularly on the availability of injunctive relief and valuation of standard-essential patents. A panel of experts—including the Beijing High People’s Court Judge who decided the Sony v. IWNCOMM case, one of the economic experts in the Chinese Huawei v. Samsung decision, one of the economic experts in recent India FRAND disputes, and a DOJ official who will discuss antitrust implications—will provide firsthand insights during a lively discussion of the issues.
